TATE’S VISION

The Spit would be split into 10 community areas which would each have different themes

Federation Walk would become a conduit running between them

Among the themes are indigenous culture, Chinese and Japanese gardens.

The Finger and Doug Jennings Park remain unchanged.

The water pipe which runs along Seaworld Drive would be used to pump recycled water throughout The Spit and provide water to those areas.

The three-storey height limit on the Spit is a “lock”. The Spit should be renamed.
