US star Kelly Rowland will perform a live mash-up of two of her biggest hits with

The Voice winner Sam Perry at the Gold Coast TV Week Logie Awards on Sunday.

The Voice coach and her series-winning protege will team up to perform Rowland’s Destiny’s Child charttopper Survivor and her solo smash When Love Takes Over for guests at the 60th anniversary awards ceremony at The Star Gold Coast.

Grammy-winning British artist Jess Glynne will perform solo before joining singer/songwriter Dan Caplen for a rendition of These Days, the track they recorded with Macklemore.

Brisbane’s Conrad Sewell will sing his single Healing Hands and Kate Ceberano will also perform.

Elsa Pataky has been invited to attend as a guest of Netflix. The Byron Bay actress has been busy filming her role in new Netflix TV drama series Tidelands on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane.

If she does attend, Pataky is tipped to bring her former

Home and Away star husband Chris Hemsworth with her.

The Logies will cap off a huge weekend on the Coast, with a swag of awards guests expected to arrive early to see Melbourne team Collingwood take on the Gold Coast Suns at Metricon Stadium on Saturday.

More than 28,000 people will also be on the Coast to compete in the Gold Coast Marathon’s program of eight events on Saturday and Sunday.

AFL Footy Show and Hot Seat host and Magpies AFL club president Eddie McGuire will fly in from Melbourne for the Collingwood Vs Suns match on Saturday before suiting up to walk the red carpet at The Logies on Sunday.

“If you believe in the industry and want to be a contributor it is important to turn up,” the Channel 9 star said of TV’s night of nights.

“It becomes fashionable for people to look down on it.

“It may have a few hairs on it at times but it is ultimately

a celebration of the industry.

“This is the first time in a long time that I’m not presenting and haven’t been nominated but I’ll be up there.”

Former locals and fellow Channel 9 fashionistas Leila McKinnon, Sylvia Jeffreys and Sonia Kruger will cohost the red carpet arrivals before the awards telecast at 7.30pm.

Fans can vote online at www.tvweeklogieawards.com.au for their favourite nominees in the 10 popular categories until the awards ceremony begins at 7.30pm.

This year’s Gold Logie contenders are Amanda Keller, Tracy Grimshaw, Jessica Marais, Grant Denyer, Rodger Corser and Andrew Winter, with Grimshaw the bookies’ favourite.

The 60-year-old awards arrive on the Coast with a caravan of traditions and partners including an official spirit – the aperitif or cocktail base Vantage Australia.

The spirit, which features Australian native botanicals, was created by Bill Hargitay who mixed up a signature cocktail, The Spirit of Melbourne, in honour of the Logies last year.

The ceremony’s move north to Queensland has inspired a new signature Logies cocktail, The Spirit of the Gold Coast, to help the event celebrate its 60th anniversary.

The Spirit of the Gold Coast is comprised of 30ml Vantage, 30ml Mango puree, 30ml Passionfruit, 15ml 1883 Lychee syrup and 15ml Lime juice – shaken up and strained into an iced Crystal rocks glass or similar and garnished with a lime wheel and pineapple leaf.
