Albo given Hanson nod

PAULINE Hanson says Anthony Albanese would make a better Labor leader than Bill Shorten.

The One Nation leader told radio 2SM yesterday she did not believe Mr Shorten understood “grassroots Australians”, and felt Labor would dump him.

“I don’t like him, I don’t trust him. I think he would be disastrous as prime minister,” Senator Hanson said.

Asked about Mr Albanese, Senator Hanson described him as a lovely guy. “I think he would be better leader than what Bill Shorten is,” she said.
