FISHING

OFFSHORE: Snapper biting in the early morning near the close reefs, as well as jewfish in similar areas and bait late in the evenings. Snapper are on the 36 fathom reefs along with cobia, jewfish and trevally.

JUMPINPIN: Pearl perch, snapper and kingfish east of the area, as well as flathead from Jumpinpin to Tipplers Channel.

BROADWATER: Flathead biting around Runaway Bay and down towards Paradise Point. Bream in the Seaway and canals throughout the week. Whiting around Wavebreak Island.

FRESHWATER: Cold weather keeping Hinze Dam bass towards the wall in deep water.
