HURRICANES SLAM RIVALS TO WIN PENNANTS GRAND FINAL

THE Hinterland Hurricanes will take bragging rights into the next Tennis Gold Coast Thursday night Pennants 1 season.

The campaign wrapped up as the Hurricanes defeated the Pro-One Slammers in the grand final of the top tier competitio­n.

In Pennant 2 Pool A, Tommick 2 defeated QP1, while Hinterland Heat beat QP Crushers in Pool B.

The next season of Thursday night fixtures starts July 26, with nomination­s to close July 19.
