SHIVERING NIGHT A HUGE SUCCESS

IN the three years since Colin Wheeler (above) and Karen Phillips took on the lead role for the Vinnies CEO Sleepout around $1.5 million has been raised. This year the notable fundraisers were Westpac, Lorraine Lovatt and Jordan Hickey who for his efforts in raising $15,000 won a very fetching pair of fluffy slippers. Vocal highlight of the night was the Choir of Hard Knocks which dragged Andrew Bell, Paul Donovan and Chris Mills up on stage to join in the fun. All money raised goes to Vinnies Cornerstone Project which will turn an old administration building at Arundel into five units for emergency accommodation for women over 60.
