AS our city continues to grow, so does the ability to open new, innovative entertainment venues away from the usual coastal hot spots. Such a one is the brand new Aviary Rooftop Bar at Southport Sharks. Perched (sorry) atop the also new Mantra at Sharks hotel, the bar features sweeping views of the Gold Coast with an in-house pizza bar and the usual array of killer cocktails. To add to the fun a separate green space cleverly called The Nest is above the bar for those wishing to taste a semirural experience.
