Warning as site hacked

THOUSANDS of Ticketmaster customers across Australia and New Zealand are being warned to check their bank accounts following a cyber attack on the ticket seller in Britain.

Data belonging to 40,000 people who used Ticketmaster’s UK website may have been accessed as a result of malicious software used in a customer support product from another company. A spokesman said people in Australia and NZ who bought or tried to buy tickets between September 2017 and February should check their bank accounts.
