Bar shooter arrest made

A MAN has been arrested over a Hobart shooting where a high-powered semi-automatic rifle was used to spray a bar.

Multiple shots were fired at the steel door at the front of Pablo’s Cocktails and Dreams just after midnight on Sunday but none of the 20 patrons and staff inside were hurt.

Police arrested a man about 11am yesterday in the Hobart CBD over what they believe was a targeted attack.

One other man connected to the shooting remains on the run.

The gun and ammunition were found nearby.
