Fatal kebab boss fined

-

A TAKEAWAY owner has been ordered to pay £3,000 ($A5,300) after a schoolgirl died from a severe allergic reaction to a kebab.

Chloe Gilbert, 15, was on a shopping trip when she ordered lunch at Al Falafel in Bath, England.

However the cafe did not have any signs warning customers about allergens in their food. The teenager – who suffered from a dairy allergy – was exposed to yoghurt in her meal and went into anaphylactic shock.

She was pronounced dead in hospital two hours later.
