Eureka secretary annouced

SOUTHPORT-BASED retirement village operator Eureka Group has announced the appointment of a new company secretary.

Former National Veterinary Care chief finance officer Laura Fanning will take on the role at the ASX minnow.

Executive chairman Murray Boyte said Ms Fanning’s appointment will complement the existing management team and strengthen corporate governance at the company.

Ms Fanning currently holds the role of company secretary at National Tyre and Wheel Limited.

An ASX release said: “Ms Fanning has gained broad financial and secretarial experience across several industries including funds management, property, veterinary services, wholesale distribution and franchising”. She will share the role with Paul Cochrane.
