Skye looks for Magic

-

JOCKEY Skye Bogenhuber gets a chance to win a second stakes race for the winter on another of her favourite horses at Caloundra.

Bogenhuber had her first ride in a Group 2 race when she won the Moreton Cup on The Monstar at the Sunshine Coast on June 2.

She returns to the Caloundra tomorrow to ride Unique Magic in the Group 3 Sunshine Coast Guineas (1600m).

Unique Magic has won her past four starts including her latest when she scored by six lengths with Bogenhuber in the saddle.

“She just gets better with every run and she has been placed on heavy ground,” Bogenhuber said.

Unique Magic, who is trained by Donald Baker at Toowoomba, has won five races this season.
