Paul’s effort win MP’s admiration

TOURISM Minister Kate Jones wasn’t game to run the Gold Coast Airport Marathon but she was at the finish line to cheer on her hubby.

Ms Jones embraced her husband, Paul Cronin, as he finished the marathon, clearly proud of his strength and determination.

“I’m so proud, it’s amazing,” Ms Jones said.

Mr Cronin said he initially floated the idea of running the less strenuous half marathon, but decided he could push himself to complete the full 42kms.
