Week of marathons

AS Russ Jarvis finished the Gold Coast Airport Marathon yesterday his final steps took him to close to running 300km in the past seven days.

Mr Jarvis was one of 12 competitors who ran a marathon every day during the past week to raise awareness about child sexual assault.

“We raised more than $150,000,” the Adelaide-based runner said.

He and the other 11 marathon runners were taking part in the Braveheart 777 Marathon – seven marathons in seven states in seven days.
