Readership data soars across sections

GOLD Coast Bulletin readership has soared across multiple sections, according to the latest data.

The data, collated by Enhanced Media Metrics Australia (EMMA), shows a broadbased lift in readership for the 12 months to April.

Leading the way was the sport section in the Weekend Gold Coast Bulletin, which saw its readership surge by 29.41 per cent for the 12-month period and by the same number for the April quarter.

The Real Estate magazine improved its audience by 28.57 per cent for the year to April and 9.76 per cent for the quarter. Readership for the daily business section also surged by 11.54 per cent for the year and 26.08 per cent for the quarter.

The Weekend business section saw similar increases, up 12.5 per cent and 17.39 per cent respective­ly.

Other positive readership increases were recorded by EMMA for Coast Confidenti­al (up 19.05 per cent over the year) and Gold Coast Eye (up 8.57 per cent).

A number of other regional News Corp publicatio­ns including the Geelong Advertiser, Toowoomba Chronicle, Townsville Bulletin, Cairns Post, Sunshine Coast Daily and Northern Territory News also grew their readership figures.
