GC THE PLACE TO BE
THE Gold Coast is the toast of tinseltown after throwing one of the biggest parties the Logies has ever seen.
As A-listers strolled the red carpet, setup in the Star’s Garden Bar, many declared the awards night a “tremendous success”, before even making it to the main event.
It’s no surprise really, throwing a good party is what the Gold Coast does best and what happens on the Glitter Strip, stays on the Glitter Strip (mostly).
The Star’s ballroom transformed for the night into a first class awards gala venue, while after parties at Nineteen, Cucina Vivo and the Garden Bar rocked into the wee hours.
It’s undeniable that the flow-on effects of this success will be wide-reaching.
We have shown industry heavyweights what we can do and plans are already underway to expand the event into a month-long festival, while vying for more productions to be filmed on the Coast.
As Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said, “it’s big business and we want it to get bigger”.
Bring it on.
