Mother, 92, kills own son

A WOMAN of 92 shot her 72year-old son dead over his plan to put her in a care home.

Anna Mae Blessing was arrested on suspicion of murder at the home they shared.

According to court documents she had been worried for days about her son’s intentions to put her into care.

“You took my life, so I’m taking yours,” she reportedly said as she was taken out of the property in Phoenix, Arizona.

She was living there with her son and his 57-year-old girlfriend. Mrs Blessing told police she had hidden two handguns in her bathrobe.
