Court after wallet lost
A GOOD samaritan who handed in a lost wallet has unwittingly landed a young manager of a medical organisation in court.
The wallet’s owner, Liam Christopher Cochrane, 20, pleaded guilty to possessing a capsule of MDMA, when he appeared in the Southport Magistrates Court yesterday.
The court was told Cochrane lost a black wallet in Surfers Paradise last month. Someone found it and handed it in to police, who found the capsule while looking for identification. Cochrane was given a six-month $300 good behaviour bond.
