FISHING

Offshore: Offshore will be tough tomorrow because of the wind. But if anglers can get out there, they’ll find plenty of snapper on the 24 fathom lines. Also some nice trags and spangled emperors. In on the 18 fathom lines, lots of jewfish and also a few snapper showing up on baits and lures.

Beaches: Bream, few flathead and plenty of tailor. Lots of tailor taken off the sandpumping jetty, and some jewfish. Seaway: Few trevally, bream, flathead, jewfish and tailor around.

Broadwater: Flathead are in full swing, plenty nice sized fish around. Anglers will find the odd whiting, and good bream in the deeper areas. There’s a few nice tailor up around Sovereign Island, and trevally around the bridges in the Nerang River, especially at night time. Report supplied by Gold Coast Fishing Tackle.
