Clooney’s ER cameo

ACTOR George Clooney has been thrown several metres into the air after his motorscooter collided with an oncoming car that veered suddenly into his lane on the Italian island of Sardinia.

“He is recovering at his home and will be fine,” a Clooney spokesman said.

Surveillance video shows what is reportedly Clooney’s scooter crashing into the car. Clooney, 57, is thrown over the front of his scooter, landing on the road. The car driver and other witnesses come to help.
