$550 for staying

TWO men who were asked to leave a licenced venue in Tweed Heads have copped a $550 fine.

The pair, a 31-year-old from Tweed Heads and a 39-year-old from Elanora, were asked to leave a licensed premises on July 5 at 7.50pm, but refused. Police were called and they were found in the poker machine.

They were spoken to and escorted out before being issued an infringement notice.
