OFFSHORE: The wind is supposed to ease off today. Around the 36 fathoms there’ll be kingfish and samson fish. At the 24 fathoms, snapper, and some trag showing up as well. In close around the 18 fathoms there’s a fair few cobia and jewfish around, especially on live baits. Snapper and spangled emperor on pilchards.

BEACHES: Tailor, bream and flathead. SEAWAY: Plenty of tailor around the entrance and sand pumping jetty. Bream, jewfish, trevally as well. BROADWATER: The northern Broadwater, plenty of flathead, tailor and trevally. Night-time around the bridges and marinas, trevally are pumping. Report by Gold Coast Fishing and Tackle.
