Jail worker secret plot

A PRISON worker and the partner of an inmate have been accused of an alleged plot to smuggle contraband into a facility in NSW’s Central West.

Detectives arrested a 36year-old Dubbo man and a 21year-old woman in Eastwood, Sydney, on Wednesday and later seized suboxone strips and steroids. Police will allege in court the man, who is a Corrective Services NSW employee, met with the woman, who is the partner of an inmate, to collect items to be “introduced” into Wellington Correctional Centre in exchange for money.
