CHECK out the Minjungbal Aboriginal Cultural Centre at Tweed Heads, where you can learn about the local Indigenous culture.

Run by the local Indigenous community, the centre is located at the Tweed Heads Historic Site and includes museum exhibits, art, and informative videos.

The centre also hosts traditional dancing in its outdoor performance area.

There are also tours available, teaching visitors about the local flora and fauna as well as the museum itself .

The centre is open from Monday to Thursday, 10am to 3pm. Entry is $15 per adult.
