Couple’s ‘golden buy’

-

A FORMER banker and his wife who swooped on a Robina childcare centre late last year when it was marketed by receivers appear to have made a golden buy. Adrian and Nancy Fonseca settled the $3.775 million deal in a super fund in November. It’s now been moved, at $5.67 million, into their childcare company, Oxanda.

The Investigator Drive property, licensed for 122 children at the time it was bought, was developed by Preschool Services Australia, a company linked to Karen Williams.

It was one of six Preschool Services centres put on the market by receivers, five of them on the Gold Coast.
