Gulls happier at home
TWEED Heads will review the amount of Intrust Super Cup home games they sell in 2019.
Piggabeen has become a Seagulls fortress; they are aiming for six straight wins there when they host Souths Logan on Sunday for what will double as old boys’ day.
Tweed have taken games to Rockhampton and North Stradbroke Island this year. They lost the latter but enjoy its standing in the ISC’s Indigenous Appreciation Round.
“You have got to be good enough wherever you play,” said Tweed boss Paul Stephenson. “I do think next year we may sell less home games but we will always participate in that one if we can.”
