Tour plans go ahead

TALKS with the Rugby League Players Association and Britain’s Rugby Football League will determine how many games the Kangaroos play on their three-Test tour of Britain late next year.

NRL boss Todd Greenberg said a revived tour of Australia by Great Britain was also in the pipeline but he was not able to say if it would happen in a four-year international calendar up to 2022 which had some details revealed yesterday.

The ARLC confirmed a three-Test Kangaroo tour of Britain in 2019, the first since 2003, and Greenberg said it was hoped the Ashes tours to Britain would take place every four years beyond 2022.
