The odds-on favourite flew the gates and was never headed to give the punters who took $1.80 no cause for concern
LOSERS
■ In Her Zone (Race 2)
The filly shot from the gates but was given no peace in front when Night Charmer loomed up on her outside mid-race. In Her Zone found a kick in the straight but the $2.90 favourite had no answer for the fast finishing Mywifesaidno ($4.40).
■ Belle Roc (Race 3)
Was sent out as the $2.80 favourite but failed by a head to beat Archer’s Treasure ($5.50). She was off the bit in the early stages and struggled to keep in touch but once in the straight she produced a flashing finish.
■ Goodonya Sonja (Race 7) Was always well back and never gave her backers a sight. Even though she tried hard in the straight, she was never going to pick up the leaders and scrambled into third place behind Helfuchi and Junction.

The $4.40 chance put in the run of the day with her win in the 2YO Maiden and will be winning again soon. ■ Helfuchi (Race 7)
Was quickly into stride from an outside alley and was impressive in leading all the way. That was win No.2 and another visit to the winner’s stall won’t be far away.
