Two up for awards
TWO senior Gold Coast Bulletin journalists have been named finalists in the 2018 Queensland Clarion Awards.
Business editor Kathleen Skene was short-listed for her work on Commonwealth Games contracts in both the Business Journalism and the Best Regional/Community News Report categories.
Senior political reporter Paul Weston was short-listed for Best Regional/Community News Report for his coverage of the Crime and Corruption Commission’s investigations into the Gold Coast City Council.
More than 430 entries were submitted for the 2018 awards, and the winners will be revealed at a gala presentation dinner on September 8 at the Brisbane Exhibition and Convention Centre at South Bank.
