LIZ’S FOUR-TUITOUS TIP IN TIME FOR JACKPOT

- SALLY COATES sally.coates@news.com.au

FOR more than a decade local treasure Liz Cantor has drawn those lucky lottery numbers, making countless dreams come true.

They say it’s all down to luck, but a helping hand can’t hurt and who better to look to for advice on how to win the $100 million Powerball Jackpot tonight than the heavily pregnant Ms Cantor.

Her first tips are to do with the numbers on that ticket itself – don’t get sentimental, go hard and pick the No. 4.

“If you’re picking your own numbers, always include a number in the 30s,” she said.

“The majority pick birthdays so they’re more likely to have to share the jackpot.

“Grab a PowerHit entry type, which guarantees you the Powerball to maximise any win.

“And I may take commission on this one, and don’t hold me to it, but pick the number four. It’s become a running joke with the Draw Officials that the number four always pops up in my draws.”

The next two are hopefully more obvious – be

a good person and, hopefully nobody needs to be told this but buying a ticket is essential.

“We’re talking $100 million – be nice to others!” she said.

“Do good deeds. What goes around comes around.

“And finally, you’ve got to be in it to win it.

“From the mouth of a Draw Official ‘I’ve seen a four-game ticket ($4.80) take out $40 million and a $100 ticket win nothing’.

“Giving yourself a small chance of winning might just be enough, but you’ve got to be in it.”
