Mr Dumont (Race 1)
It was a very easy watch for punters that backed the favourite. Luke Rolls took Mr Durmont straight to the front and he never looked like getting run down.
Big Arjay (Race 2)
Big Arjay proved too quick for his rivals in this 900m scamper. Matthew Palmer rode him aggressively to find the lead and he had the rest of the field chasing a long way from home.
Sky Lake (Race 7)
Sky Lake impressed in her first start for Chris Munce. Time To Play kicked clear and looked as though she would be tough to catch, but Sky Lake flattened out nicely in the concluding stages. LOSERS
Felino Bel (Race 6)
There was plenty of support for Felino Bel but nothing went right. Paul Hammersley went forward on him, but she ended up three wide. She tired badly in the concluding stages.
My Delilah (Race 7)
My Delilah found the front fairly comfortably, but she did overrace and being in front probably didn’t suit her. You can expect her to be stepped up in distance again next start.
NEXT TIME
Coastal Prince (Race 4) Coastal Prince took a long time to wind up but he savaged the line in the final 100m to only be narrowly denied. The Real Saga colt clearly has talent and he will be very tough to beat whenever he has his next start.
Holbrook (Race 5)
It was a horror watch for punters that backed Holbrook. Anthony Allen took an eternity to find a clear run for him in the straight. He responded strongly when he finally got a shot at them, but by then the race was all over.
