Titan lists acreage property for sale
ONE of the Gold Coast Titans’ biggest stars has listed his sprawling home, just days after the NRL season came to an end.
Captain Ryan James, who was last month named the club’s player of the year, has decided to part ways with his “acreage lifestyle” in Mudgeeraba.
He and wife Ana previously told the Bulletin the openness and backyard overlooking the dam of their Mudgeeraba property would be a perfect place to raise children.
The 27-year-old’s fourbedroom home features two outdoor kitchens, an infinity edge pool, fire pit and pizza oven.
“Perfect for the extended family, offering a multitude of options including dual living or teenage retreat, this spacious and contemporary residence offers peace and tranquillity, all just minutes from quality schools, local parks, Robina Town Centre and the M1 Motorway,” the listing states.
James, who bought his Mudgeeraba house in 2015, has sold two Gold Coast properties over the past two years.
No price has been put on the Mudgeeraba property.
In other news, house hunters were out in force over the weekend despite the showers.
At Burleigh Waters, a three-bedroom house at 3 Bowerbird Place sold under the hammer for $627,000.
Described as a piece of “prime Burleigh Waters real estate”, eight registered bidders were among a crowd of more than 50 which turned out to Saturday’s auction.
“The property ended up being bought by a woman from Currumbin Waters who is moving up the Coast,” Andrew Henderson of John Henderson Professionals Mermaid Beach said.
“The underbidder was a local couple – both the buyer and underbidder were looking for something to live in.”
“It’s a house they can live in now or renovate down the track.”
It’s been a busy few weeks for the team at John Henderson Professionals Mermaid Beach who also handled the sale of prominent Queensland shop-fitting industry figure Scott Headland.
Mr Headland’s block of four units on Hedges Ave, Mermaid Beach changed hands for $1.893 million.
Set on a 405sq m corner property with 36m of frontage to Hedges Ave, the twostorey building includes two, WITH ALEISHA DAWSON & JESSICA BROWN two-bedroom units on the ground floor and two, threebedroom units on the upper level.
The buyer, a businesswoman with interests in the food industry, plans to build her dream house on the property. The units generate annual rental returns of just more than $72,000.
