SOME things are just meant to be. Thea Williams, widow of the late, great Keith, enjoyed her Melbourne Cup celebrations with friends at Shuck Restaurant in Main Beach. As is usual, a lucky door prize was drawn and much to Thea’s surprise she was called out as the winner. And the prize? What else but a trip to Hamilton Island. Given that Keith developed Hamilton Island from scratch in the early 1980s, Thea could only laugh at the coincidence. “I have such fond memories of the island and our time there so it will be great to go back and have some fun,” she said
