Like many new NRL teams the Canberra Raiders were having a very lean trot and were easy beats of the competition. Then came big Mal. The Raiders went from also-rans to first and stayed near the top during Mal’s tenure. I hope he can inspire the Titans and the Gold Coast with the same integrity he brought to Canberra.
