TODAY: Short-period S swell ranging from 3 to 4ft+ northern NSW south-facing breaks and wrapping at 2 to 3ft along exposed Qld beaches and more like 1 to 2ft in the bays and along the points. WIND: Early S inshore 10 to 20 knots, tending SSE 15 to 25 knots during the morning, then lighter SE in the afternoon.

TOMORROW: Easing SE swell up to 2 to 3ft+ exposed northern NSW beaches, grading to 1 to 3ft across exposed Qld breaks and 1 to 2ft elsewhere. WIND: Early lighter inshore tending SE to ESE 10 to 15 knots.

SUNDAY: Slow rise in SE tradewind swell around 1 to 2ft+ exposed beaches early, bumping up to 2 to 3ft during the day. Mostly 1 to 2ft inside the points and bays. WIND: Early light SW/ SSW, turning SE 10 to 20 knots in the morning, freshening to 15 to 25 knots later.

MONDAY: ESE tradewind swell up to 2 to 4ft exposed open beaches, grading to 1 to 3ft in the bays and along the points. WIND: Early light SW to SSW tending SE to ESE 15 to 25 knots.

TUESDAY: ESE tradewind swell up to 2 to 3ft+ exposed beaches, easing marginally in the afternoon. Grading to sub 1 to 2ft+ along the points and inside the bays. WIND: Early WSW to SSW inshore tending SE to ESE 10 to 15 knots.

WEDNESDAY: ESE tradewind swell around 2 to 3ft exposed beaches, easing into the afternoon. Grading smaller inside the points and bays with size depending on exposure. WIND: Early light and variable tending ENE 5 to 10 knots during the morning, then NE up to 10 to 15 knots later.
