STREAMLINE SYSTEMS IS LUCAS’ GREAT CALL

-

VARSITY Lakes local Lucas Karchinsky (right) has created an Australian-first for the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter service, with a novel way of raising funds for the Gold Coastborn charity.

The charity established its inhouse fundraising call centre back in the 1990s but is now opening its doors to other businesses to offer business process outsourcing (BPO) as a way of raising funds.

“We are the first not-forprofit in Australia to offer this service and we’re proud it’s happening right here on the Gold Coast,” Mr Karchinsky said.

“When companies look at the staggering cost of buying and operating systems by themselves, they sometimes turn to outsourcing as a way, in effect, of renting a provider’s system. You’re essentially buying a system by the drink rather than owning the bar.’’

RACQ LifeFlight Rescue is offering local small to medium business enterprises the chance to outsource their call centre work, IT solutions, sales and administration to LifeFlight’s call centre.

“It’s also a way a local business can essentially give to charity while having their outsourcing needs met. It’s the ultimate win-win,” he said.

Any local businesses wanting to outsource and save local lives with their support can contact Lucas on 5665 5811.
