TOM BOSWELL rates the top draft prospects coming out of the Gold Coast:

1. BAILEY SCOTT (left)

Age: 18

Height: 186cm

Weight: 64kg

Position: Midfield

Club: Broadbeach A gut-running midfielder, he has had to weigh up whether to join Geelong or North Melbourne under the fatherson rule or Gold Coast, through his Suns academy link. All three clubs want the skilled on-baller who can play at halfforward and finish well in front of goal. It appears North Melbourne will be the winner. His father Robert Scott played 132 games for Geelong and 113 for North Melbourne.

2. DIRK KOENEN (above) Age: 18

Height: 194cm

Weight: 87kg

Position: Key position

Club: Palm Beach Currumbin Strong and tall for his age, Koenen is already developed physically and has proved to be adept at intercept marking while his skills are also impressive. Originally from Magnetic Island, Koenen started with the Suns through their Townsville academy before shifting south to play football and finish school at Palm Beach Currumbin.

3. CALEB GRAHAM (above) Age: 17

Height: 194cm

Weight: 84kg

Position: Tall defender/key position.

Club: Palm Beach Currumbin Graham doesn’t hesitate to launch himself at the footy while he runs hard and competes harder. An Allies under-18 rep, he can play at either end of the ground and is a good contested mark.
