GOLD Coast developer George Mas- trocostas has not been idle since selling out his 14-level tower that’s going up at Labrador.

Mr Mastrocostas’ Aniko Group has lodged a development application with the Ipswich City Council to build a 229-lot community on a 24.6ha site within the Ripley Valley Priority Development Area.

The proposed development, to be delivered over five stages, is for hous- ing lots averaging 400sq m. About a third of the site, bound by Barrams and Cumner roads at White Rock, is dedicated to open space.
