Peters has a strong hand

LEADING Perth owner Bob Peters is in the box seat to add a fifth Kingston Town Classic (1800m) to his trophy cabinet.

The West’s answer to Lloyd Williams has four horses in the Group 1 weight-for-age event tomorrow, including shortpriced favourite Arcadia Queen, Galaxy Star, Perfect Jewel and Star Exhibit.

Adding to the appeal of Arcadia Queen is that gun Perth jockey Willie Pike, who gets the pick of Peters’ horses, has chosen to ride the three-yearold filly.
