Kelly’s close Taiwan call

TWEED Coast’s Zahli Kelly has narrowly missed out on a spot in the final of the WSL’s Taiwan Open Junior Championship.

American Kirra Pinkerton overcame Keala Tomoda-Bannert in the 35 minute final at Jinzun Harbour.

On her way to the final, TomodaBannert took down Australian title hopeful Kelly in semi-final 2.

Kelly, who took out the WSL Australia Oceania JQS, was looking like she was destined for a spot in the final but met a rampaging rival.
