Norris OK with footy code hops

-

BURLEIGH Bears rugby league coach Tahnee Norris has reaffirmed her willingness to allow players to juggle codes despite women’s footy becoming increasingly professional.

Several players of the Bears squad that clinched their fourth straight SEQ title this year, such as Zahara Temara and Jasmin Kemp, play both league and union and Norris has no qualms about that continuing.

“I’m of the belief of trying to facilitate both,” the Jillaroos legend said.

“The girls have got that opportunity and I would have loved that back in my day, that would have been fantastic.

“So I’m all for if it fits in, then that’s great.

“I don’t have an issue with that sort of stuff as long as I know they are coming back.”
