Job seeker fund boost
GOLD COAST job seekers have received an extra $2.29 million in training funding to help get ready for work.
The state funding comes as part of the latest round of Skilling Queenslanders for Work, which is expected to benefit up to 341 Gold Coasters.
Under the program individuals will undertake paid training while working on community projects designed to enhance their skills.
More than $34.7 million has been invested in the latest round of the Palaszczuk Government’s Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative to fund a further 156 projects.
