Accused in bid to flee

A MAN will remain in custody over the death of a Logan mother after it was revealed he tried to board a flight out of the country.

Ratan Singh Sandip, 25, of Algester faced court yesterday after he was charged over the death of Mt Warren Park mother of three Beth Eden on November 27 last year.

Ms Eden, 60, was killed when she was hit by a car while jogging on a footpath in Milne St, 300m from her Mt Warren Park home.

Mr Sandip did not apply for bail and is due to next appear in court on February 6. Thor
