Hot Kah off to Victoria

-

STAR Adelaide jockey Jamie Kah is set to depart South Australian racing.

Kah will ride freelance in Melbourne, the lure of more opportunities at bigger prizemoney too big for one of Australia’s most talented riders.

Kah has already ridden 76 winners this season and sits third on the Australian Jockey Premiership behind WA star William Pike and NSW jockey Greg Ryan.

Kah rode 33 winners, with 43 placings, from 135 rides in November and December, with five winners and 11 placings from just 27 rides in the first two weeks of 2019.

“She feels the time is now right to base herself over there full-time,’’ Kah’s manager Nick Pinkerton said.
