Vinnies wanting us to dig deep and help flood victims

-

WITH hundreds of homes destroyed by flooding, threatening lives and property across Townsville and surrounds, St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland is here to help.

The Vinnies North Queensland Flood Appeal will assist affected families and individuals, through what for many will be the toughest time of their lives.

We need the public to support us as we give a helping hand to as many Queenslanders as possible who have been impacted by this unprecedented disaster.

Every dollar donated will go to people who have lost everything.

Vinnies are a permanent and strong local presence in Townsville, your donations will provide hope and reassurance as people begin to rebuild and recover their lives from this catastrophic natural disaster.

Vinnies Queensland has been assisting people in need across the state since forming 125 years ago as a response to the great flood that hit Brisbane in 1893.

We were there for the victims of Cyclone Debbie in 2017 and most recently supported drought affected communities and victims of the bushfires in Central Queensland.

Long after the rain has stopped and flood waters recede, residents of North Queensland will need our help and we will be here, as we always have to give them a hand-up in their time of need.

Our fellow Queenslanders in the Townsville region need our help now, please donate if you can.
