‘Boycott Coles, Aldi’

SHOPPERS have been encouraged to boycott Coles and Aldi with the federal agricultural minister savaging the supermarket giants for retaining $1-per-litre milk.

David Littleproud blasted the corporations for not following Woolworths lead to phase out the cut-price milk to help struggling farmers by paying them more for the product.

He accused Coles of “pretending” to be a decent corporate citizen and accused Aldi of “hiding under the stairs”.

“Now it’s time to put up or shut up. Dairy farmers struggling with drought need an end to the ‘$1 milk disaster’,” he said.
