Undie run’s big bucks
GOLD Coasters have shown how big their hearts are by raising more than $34,000 for children with neurofibromatosis (NF).
More than 150 adults and 50 kids stripped down to their undies and ran across the sand at Broadbeach on Sunday.
A group of 30 people, called Bella’s NF Heros, took out top spot as the highest fundraising team with $11,600. A Gold Coast father of an NF child raised $5485 alone.
Children’s Tumour Foundation of Australia fundraising manager Rachel Skelton thanked the Gold Coast.
