The rehoming of the Oxenford geese sounds very much like their new home could be somebody’s freezer. Margaret

What Michael Jackson did in his spare time was inappropriately deal with little boys in his mansion, bought with the fortune we all gave him for his music. I think that “outside interest” is called a paedophile. So that’s OK is it? Ex MJ fan

How can anyone consider these school strike climate protests in any way spontaneous when they’re being organised simultaneously in every western country? Who are the hidden adults behind this charade? Who is manipulating our children? Dad

You are misguided when you think it does not matter what terrible crime you commit just because you are an entertainer. Disgusted reader.

To confused – your child would not have got as bad a case of whooping cough having had the vaccination. You can still get the diseases but not as severe. Nan who knows.

Interesting that Kev’s diner was mentioned, “a la chew and spew. “Ate there quite a bit in mid 60s on hols. Odd that I bumped into daughter of the girl who worked there 50 years later. Small world. PFT

Hey Old Car Salesman, I have paint protection on my new car pre delivery- from Nov. 2017 to now the water and or rain just beads off. People always comment how shiny the car looks. Maybe I used crappy products but I was given the chance to check the product used and have no issues. Also it is guaranteed or re-coated for life. Worth the money? - u bet

If anything needs a royal investigation its retail meat prices. The news reports meat prices are soaring at the retail outlets, if you had watched Landline on the weekend you would have heard that cattle prices dropped 40 per head and butchered meats around 3 a kilogram. So why are outlets charging up to 54 per kilogram. Who is the culprit robbing the people? TS.

Wake up Rocket, the tram has ruined the traffic where ever it goes, it will take all day with a cut lunch for a visitor to get from the airport to Surfers, Sydney is 20 mins. Slow way to ruin.

To the muncher of the Chevron Island burger I had one from Sunshine Coast and it was the size of Toyota Yaris. Buggered if I know where they get the buns for yours and my burgers. DJB.

Dear Confused re vaccines, if the “herd” vaccinated number are too low then the vaccinated herd members may still get the diseases. So the priority is to get the herd vaccine rates above 90%. Unconfused.

To Confused re. vaccination it’s not going to stop anyone getting any number of illnesses but what the vaccine does is prepare the person with antibodies so it can fight the illness. Without vaccination the body is not prepared. ZORBA

Our cricketers are on track defending their crown at the World Cup ... should be a great year for us with the Web Ellis rugby and netball World Cups also. Noel

First of all I am not a Clive fan. All the do-gooders up in arms about the United Party Tshirts and caps being made in China, get a grip. All the showbags that get handed out from our LNP parliament members and councillors – guess what? They have made in China on them as well but not a squeak about them.

Great idea Woody C about a night quarter in Tedder ave, would be an amazing atmosphere and position but I had a little giggle as I pictured the horror of the Main Beach Set’s faces. Takeaway food? How bourgeois! Puuuulease!

After watching those nutty women on MAFS it makes me wonder if they represent the majority of marriageable age females in our society today. If they do I’m glad that I am old and not in the market. John A

Cindy, you must be kidding? What Michael Jackson did in his spare time was molest his biggest fans who idolised him. Would you still think that way if your young innocent son was groomed and molested by someone? Kyra

No wonder the State Government wants another casino on the GC, Star have spent $1.3 billion in the last 4 years. Big bickies by any measure. GC Gal

Arrested for wearing a Tshirt because it’s associated with a motorcycle club in Queensland and yet not a problem in New South Wales for wearing the same T-shirt. This sounds like grounds for an appeal to the High Court to test this breach of section 117 of the Australian Constitution. When are you banning my NSW State of Origin T-shirt?

Kohli scores heavily, India wins one-dayers. Kohli goes cheaply, Indian batting middle-order exposed as being very ordinary.
