TRIO OF RETAIL SPACES ON OFFER

-

NSW investors are cutting ties with three units in the Ashmore Plaza shopping centre.

Gorniak Super Pty Ltd, linked to Mauriusz and Meeijy Gorniak, is selling lots 19-21 at 160 Cotlew St, which it acquired for a total of $1.02 million in 2016.

The shops are currently home to Southern Cross Care Direct and Kip McGrath Education Centre, which share 146sq m, JMS Express Laundry Service with 94sq m and Chempro with 86sq m.

The properties return net annual income of $89,429 to the owner.

Colliers International Gold Coast’s Lian Lee, who is marketing the properties, said the sale represents an opportunity for an investor to buy commercial property in a Woolworths-anchored centre at an entry-level price.

Ashmore Plaza is a singlefloor retail centre located on the intersection of Cotlew St and Currumburra Rd – both major traffic thoroughfares.

The centre is anchored by Woolworths, with tenants including Australia Post, as well as more than 50 specialty shops and parking for 500 vehicles.

An auction for the three properties, to be sold in one line, will be held at 11am on April 18 at the Colliers Gold Coast office in Surfers Paradise.
