Roar channel maroon fever

BRISBANE Roar will wear their maroon strip for the first time this season as they call on “State of Origin” spirit to defeat Sydney FC at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night.

The Roar have only won three matches this season but one of their victories was over the Sydneysiders, a 2-1 home triumph on February 8.

That night Brisbane wore their traditional orange.

However they will switch to their maroon-dominated third strip as they attempt to defeat the Sky Blues.
